This week is the week I have been waiting for. This week I
will be able to finally test my experiment. I have conducted a series of tests
to prove my unknown bacteria is indeed Pseudomonas. I have done a grain stains
to prove gram negative bacillus existed. These were pink rods. I have incubated
my bacteria at 42 Celsius. I have done an oxidase test on my unknown as well. I
sterilize all my plastics and incubated them to make sure nothing grew on my
plastics using my prefer methods. I am now incubating the plastics with Pseudomonas.
By tomorrow, I will be able to place my plastics on selective medias to identify
whether the bacteria on my plastics is Pseudomonas. I hope to finish this all
by Friday so I can present at the Estrella Mountain event.
