So in the first week, we all met up in DB114 and talked about what we will be doing for the next few weeks. Introductions were made and quite a few of the students were people that were already in the program before. The staff seem friendly and helpful. I am going to an internship with the other biology majors and I am going to have an interview on Monday morning. From what I overheard the previous students, the internship for those pursing biology is going to involve discovering unknown substances and specimens. I did similar experiments in Microbiology last year. I am excited to see what the program has in store for me.
